Holiday Baskets for Seniors & Holiday Party

The holiday party was fantastic! We had a huge goal of filling 80 gift baskets for senior citizens (see event details), not knowing if we would actually be able to collect enough items to fill them all. Fortunately, we pulled it off! Thank you so much to all of our members who purchased items, made items, requested donations, and spent your time and energy organizing the details of this event. It was definitely a huge team effort, and I'm thrilled that we not only filled every basket, we had a small amount of toiletry items leftover that will be donated to the Five Loaves and Two Fish Food Pantry. The children also enjoyed decorating the pillowcases that the Griffin Chamber of Commerce will send to Georgia troops in Iraq.  Thanks again to everyone who made this event such a big success!
