Noah's Ark Rehabilitation Center turned out to be a marvelous field trip, and our group donated over $250 to organization! We had a great turnout, with many of our members driving great distances for the event. The nature trails were lush and scenic, and many animals came up and allowed us a great view. I also loved that the tour guide, Hugh Smith, told us many of the animals' stories, including how they were rescued from poachers, from animal testing facilities, and from inappropriate caregivers. It's nice to remember that all the animals we saw were rescued and/or rehabilitated, and that's what sets this field trip apart from a zoo.
