to Help with Can Collections
Prior
to the October 29th event, children are encouraged to collect
canned food in their neighborhoods. The following flyers were
created to assist in this process.
Canned Food Collection Flyer #1 -
This is the ideal flyer to use. It gives information about the
Five Loaves & Two Fish Food Pantry and allows space to specify
when to have cans ready to pick up on a later date. (Remember it
is against the law to place non-U.S. Mail in mailboxes.) This is
also provided as a Microsoft
Word document to allow for easy customization of the
flyer.
Canned Food Collection Flyer #2
- This flyer also gives information about the Five Loaves & Two
Fish Food Pantry, but does not indicate there will be a return
trip to pick up cans. This flyer will work well for people who
do not have time to make two trips to neighbors' houses. Of
course, it is likely this method of collecting cans will not
yield as much since people may not be home or may not have all
the cans they would have donated with advance notice. This is
also provided as a Microsoft
Word document to allow for easy customization of the
flyer.

Consider collecting canned food items and donating them to a
food bank close to you. The following flyers were created just for
this purpose. Even better, contact
us for information about starting another local chapter
of Compassionate Kids.
