following Earth Day Event:

Description: Earth Day 2005 has been officially declared
as the Year of the Nature Center in Minnesota. Please join us on
an activity-filled hike
including tree planting, bird watching, animal stories, water
quality testing, and a park clean up as we go! You will receive
your very own packet of prairie seeds to bring home and plant.
After the hike enjoy the sounds of local folk musician Jack
Pearson and refresh yourself with some treats. Call Wood Lake
Nature Center to register to attend at 612-861-9365. This event
is free.
